Philosophy

Personal training reimagined…

Often training focuses on external.  How much can I lift, how fast can I go, how do I look?  While there is nothing wrong with this, as people try to reach these external goals, they can forget to pay attention to how they feel internally.  This often leads a person to physical break down or mental burn out, even if their goals are reached.  At Inner Focus Fitness we believe that your training doesn’t have to trade health for performance and should be something you can continue for the rest of your life.  By bringing the focus inward towards awareness, mobility, and breath, our training will lead you to a more resilient state, both physically and mentally.  From here the external goals, if not already achieved as a side effect, will be far more attainable and your training will become sustainable for life.

About Me

Despite being a lifelong athlete, my movement patterns started leading to aches and pain that were beginning to keep me from doing the things I loved.  While challenging at first, this led me to not only learn how to move and exercise in a sustainable way, it taught me how to help others do the same as well…
